The European Karate Cup will take place on 4-5 of December 2021 in Kėdainiai (Kaunas), Lithuania, in “Kėdainių Arena”.
Kumite men 1st and 2nd places and Kumite women 1st place winners will be selected to participate in the World Karate Championship on September 24-25, 2022 in Poland.

Kumite (The minimum age for competitors must be 18 years on the day of competition)
Men: -65 kg, 65-75 kg, 75-85 kg, +85 kg
Women: -50 kg, 50-55 kg, 55-60 kg, +60 kg
Kata men, Kata women, Kata Team (2 participants per country in each category KUMITE and KATA). Country organizer has one extra participant in each category.
Athletes, who already were selected to the 2022 World Championship, cannot participate in this tournament.
Preliminary schedule:
02.12.2021 Thursday: arrival of EKO Board, committees, invited referees, National teams.
03.12.2021 Friday: arrival of National teams
09:00-18:00 COVID tests, weight and medical control;
09:00 EKO committees meetings;
11:00 – 17:00 Referee seminar, examination;
18:30 Draws.
04.12.2021 Saturday: 10:00 – European Cup 1st day.
05.12.2021 Sunday: 10:00 – European Cup 2nd day (semifinals and finals);
20:00 – Sayonara Party.
06.12.2021 Monday: checkout and departure.
Financial conditions:
a) Accommodation, flight tickets, transportation and meals for all participants shall be covered by Country Organization or Club or participant himself;
b) EKO participation fee 50 Euro per each participant.
