On May 30, 2020, an online meeting of members of the European Karate Organization was held, attended by Presidents of National Organizations, Country Representative and Branch Chief from 20 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Georgia, Spain, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, Sweden, Ukraine, Great Britain and Hungary.
The meeting was attended by the President of WKO Kenji Midori, who presented the impact of the coronavirus on the situation in karate and outlined actions for the future, His energetic speech was as always very motivating. President Midori thanked the EKO Board and the EKO President Koen Scharrenberg for the development of karate in Europe and the promotion of Fullcontact Karate.
