Dear shihans, sensei’s, all instructors in full contact karate,
We hope to find you in good health of course, and your families, students and all around you. Although there are hopeful signs that our society is a little bit bouncing back from the impact of the Coronavirus, the disease and the threat the virus pose are still influencing our daily lives very much. And, of course also, the practicing of our beloved full contact karate.
Unfortunately, it is still completely unpredictable how things will turn out and if – and when – we can safely gather in groups and train together. The same goes for traveling to other countries, being in the same rooms, having physical contact.
Therefore, however much we regret this, the decision has been taken to postpone the EFKO CAMP 2020, towards next year’s summer. The exact future date still has to be decided.
Please be aware: in this fight to unite and work together, we will never give up. So, this is only a delay, and definitely not a cancellation. We all have experienced, that is simply is too wonderful to train together, eat and drink together and have so much fun and fulfillment.
Sosai Oyama’s heritage is still very much alive and together we have the power to keep it that way.
Anyway, we hope for your understanding and, of course, co-operation when the next Camp is planned.
In the meantime, please take very good care of yourself and those around you. We will keep in touch. Stay healthy!
Osu!
